BLINDS
· The two players to the left of the button are required to post “blind” bets before seeing their cards. The 1st player is the SB and the 2nd player is the BB.
· If the SB is knocked out, the button goes to their empty seat and the previous player deals for them.
· If the BB is knocked out, then the BB moves on to the player who would have had it next and there isn’t a SB on this hand (SB moves into the empty seat). On the following hand, the button would wind up in the empty seat. The player who just had the BB would have SB, and the BB moves on normally to the next player. Basically, the BB is never interrupted and the deals sometimes has to back up to accommodate it.
· When play gets down to two players (heads-up), the BB continues on but SB is always on the button and the first to act pre-flop.

SEATING
· Seating will be randomly determined by drawing cards (i.e. A-10 are used for 10 players). The button position for each table will be determined before the draw. The ace drawn will be the button (dealer), the deuce will be Small Blind (SB), the three will be Big Blind (BB), etc.
· If two tables are necessary draw cards will be separated into colors, and before the draw one table will be designated as the black table and the other will be the red table. If three tables are used, cards will be separated into three suits, then each table will be designated its own respective suit.
· When necessary, players will be moved to another table to balance seating numbers. Players will be moved to a seat with a similar orientation to the button. When possible, attempts will be made to avoid moving persons with the largest or smallest chip stacks.
· Tables arranged as follows; up to 10 people: one table, 11-20 people: two tables, 21-30 people: three tables. Consolidation to one table occurs when ten people remain.
· Year-end championship table seating is determined by season rankings.

THE DEAL
· The player to the right of the dealer must cut the deck before the cards are dealt. A bottom card must be used when dealing.
· The dealer is responsible for making sure that all bets have been called before dealing each round of card(s).
· Order of the deal:

1. Dealer deals two cards (one at a time) face down to each player.
2. Betting round 1 occurs.
3. Dealer burns one card and deals 3 cards (flop) in the middle of the table face up.
4. Betting round 2 occurs.
5. Dealer burns one card and deals one card (turn) in the middle.
6. Betting round 3 occurs.
7. Dealer burns one card and deals the final card (river).
8. Betting round 4 occurs.

· Mucked cards may not be retrieved from the pile for play.
· If a player's card is exposed during the deal, the deal is declared a misdeal and the hand is re-dealt. The button does not move.
· If a burn card or a mucked card is exposed, the card is made available to the table. The hand is not re-dealt.
· If a community card is exposed prior to betting action being completed, the card remains as is. It will not be burned.
· If there was a bet or raise on the end, the person who's last bet or raise is called shows their cards first. If it’s checked around, the first person to act (left of the button) shows first.
· If a player is shown a better hand, they are not required to reveal their cards.

BETTING
· No "string bets". Players must announce their intentions before acting or placing chips in front of them; either check, call, raise, or fold.
· "String checks" and " string folds" are allowed.
· Check and raise is allowed.
· A rapping of knuckles or a tapping of fingers on the table constitutes a check.
· The minimum bet is equal to the size of the BB. · Any wager must be at least the size of the previous bet or raise in that round, unless a player is going all-in.
· Any player may bet any amount of their chips at anytime it is their turn to do so.
· Betting round 1 begins with the player to the left of the BB.
· Betting rounds 2-4 begin with the player to the left of the button.
· In heads-up play, the BB is dealt to first, the button acts first before the flop, and the BB acts first after the flop.
· Players must not splash the pot. Players will stack their bets in front of them, and then push the chips into the pot after the betting round is complete. This will eliminate some confusion that may occur with no limit betting.
· Players must not bet, check, call, fold, or raise out of turn.

OTHER
· Agreements MAY NOT be made between players at anytime to split payout and/or points.
· If two players tie for the high hand, the pot is split. If there is a split pot not equally divisible by the number of players in the hand, the remaining chip will be awarded to the player closest to the left of the button.
· If two players are eliminated in the same hand, the player who started the hand with more chips gets the higher finish and will be awarded the corresponding points and prize pool for that placement, if applicable. In the event of players having the same amount of chips, the best poker hand determines placement. In the RARE occurence of that also being a tie, players will Ro Sham Bo (Rock, Paper, Scissors) in a two-of-three battle to determine placement.
· No "table talk". Players must not talk about their own or anyone else's hands - either mucked or in play - or the cards on the board in such a way as to give other players any information. AFTER the hand is played out, let the moaning & groaning begin.
· Players are expected to conduct themselves with POKER ETIQUETTE. Inappropriate behavior such as throwing cards or chips that go off the table may be punished with a fifteen minute time-out. A severe infraction such as cheating, abusive or disruptive behavior may be punished by eviction from the tournament.

AUTHORITY
· TD has final authority over all decisions, disputes, etc.
